Chelsea People

For other ShadowShots go here.

A  street fair lets letter carriers walk right down the middle of 8th Avenue.
Always something rather thrilling about walking where you usually can't.

This group were waiting to go on stage at the Senior Talent Show.
The lady with the sword was very enthusiastic.

An exquisite bouquet of orchids.

Great excitement when The Rock came to Chelsea as part of the Tribeca Film Festival.
Paparazzi swarmed him. R. says he is a wrestler.
You can just see his head as a sort ofblob between all the photographers.

  1. Interesting shadow of people. The Rock has a funny eyebrow, not a wrestling fan..my dad was. Happy Sunday.

  6. Isn't that the truth...the 2-lane in front of my house is now a service road, while the 4-lane is in the back of my house...it's surreal to walk crossed it for my mail now...I still look both ways...argh!

  8. Our little town shuts down traffic on Main for the International Folk Dance Festival. We stop in the middle to visit with friends we have not seen on ages. What fun. Great pics.

  15. I’m enjoying how our blogs lined up this week. It appears that Chelsea is your neighborhood. Lucky! I loved your Empire Diner shot below. NYC is so nice on a sunny warm day. You capture the feel of it so well.
