For lots of other ShadowShots go to HeyHarriet here!
Grand Central Station and the shadow of a building near it.
I'm off to Port Chester by train.
I'm heading for Petsmart at Port Chester where Petrescue are having an open house.
I had been in touch with Gwen who has checked our references.
Our daughter-in-law has a friend who adopted through them.
Well, here he is!
PetRescue is a wonderful organization.
All the dogs available to good homes were healthy and beautifuly cared for.
Sophie and her mother who had fostered and loved our little guy were very sad to see him go.
Who can blame them? We haven't finally decided on a name.
I sort of favor Buster. Hmm......suggestions?
He prefers the sofa to his crate.....wouldn't you?
He has mastered the art of asking R. if there are any
little left over pieces of toast.
The puppy looks so cute and will keep you and R busy going up and down to let him out. I guess you plan to stick around NY for a while.ReplyDelete
oh my gosh! A new family member!ReplyDelete
what a cutie! ! !
Pet rescue is a wonderful organization. & Foster parents are like angels. How good of you to adopt Elizabeth.
Your shadow is nice too btw.
You will be putty in the paws of this one.....He is lucky and so are you. Buster is a god dog name. I once had a student whose name was truly Buster Brown, he was full of beans.ReplyDelete
I love your new puppy. Bring him over sometime soon and we will run him around the park.ReplyDelete
I'm totally smitten! What a little cutie he is! Congrats on the new addition to your family. I like the name Buster. It's kind of cheeky sounding. And this little doggy looks cheeky. In a good way! You guys are so going to spoil Buster big time :)ReplyDelete
I'm so happy you finally have a dog!
Oh I was so distracted by your cute puppy that I forgot to say that I like your shadows too!ReplyDelete
Have a wonderful Sunday :)

What a cute little guy! Nothing like a new member of the family! Great shadow shots! Have a great day!ReplyDelete
His face is pure sweetness- I'm in puppy love. I like Buster- like the little dog in the Buster Brown shoe ads- but I like Chester, too - since he came from Port Chester.ReplyDelete
Ahhhh, Buster is adorable, and clearly has already training you all to fulfill his every desire!ReplyDelete
I very much look forward to shaking his paw.
what a beauty! I am so in love with that little pooch. ( it's a total set up- they worm their way in , you can not leave them, they get old and die and break your heart....and then we do it again, go figure) Good luck with "Buster"- I had a border collie one time named Buster- he was very naughty and killed all of the baby pigs.ReplyDelete
Buster. Yes. AND he's Brown!ReplyDelete
Ah...the joys of puppyhood. Yes, housebreaking, crate training, puppy breath, being needed...have fun and learn lots!ReplyDelete
What a cute dog! How about a train-related name? "Conductor" or "Choo-Choo" or even "Thomas" (the Train!) Have fun!ReplyDelete
uh oh! there go your hearts! your world now off its axis and turning to the beat of puppy paws and licks!ReplyDelete
Buster Brown was the boy and Tige was his dog.ReplyDelete
I missed the post where you must have talked about deciding to get a puppy I must look back because we are complete doggy nutters in this household.ReplyDelete
I love your little Buster and may you still find time to blog - although I know him and his toys will come -quite rightly - first.
What a precious face!!! A new puppy brings such joy to the house.ReplyDelete
