equipped with guts and kneepads and elbow pads and helmets
it's great fun to watch too
an adventure altogether
sort of like surfing on a very hard surface
you can even drop off the right angle in the middle......
When I think of all the totally unsuitable stuff we did as kids, this doesn't seem as alarming - in fact it looks like fun and I'm jealous.
This definitely looks like fun, Especially zooming down the ramp!
ReplyDeleteNo, not for me thanks. I find it terrifying to watch, let alone actually do!!
ReplyDeleteMy son is a skate boarder in summer and a snowboarder in winter. It looks like great fun, but I think I'll watch from the sidelines.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos.
You are right. At first it seems alarming, but when one looks back to one's own childhood, perhaps it is a safer option - I recall dares that were extremely dangerous. Besides, it is developing fantastic balancing skill and spatial awareness.
ReplyDeleteWe were tougher when we flew on our skateboards all those years ago :)

Complete wow shots! The concrete background is wonderful, and the colours just sing.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that I could drop off those walls and survive. But if you like that sort of thing, it is better than rolling on the walls of the post office, like they did in Huntington before barriers, or in the street.
ReplyDeleteWe have one of these nearby too, fun to watch unless its your child doing it! Last time we were there my then 9 year old did a face plant bad enough to send all the other kids running over to check him out! (He was fine) Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteand we did not have all the padding!
