I so agree about the beauty of that particular block of brownstones. Lilacs and wisteria are magnificent...and I wouldn't mind adding a peony or three to the mix!
Now I want to smell the lilacs. I'll have to wait another two or three weeks. That is, unless a late frost gets ours first. Wonderful spring photos, Ewix.
My wisteria at my new house was beautiful for the short time that it bloomed but it also infected the deck with wood-rot and now I have to replace the whole deck. Fortunately I don't have to get rid of the wisteria but just cut it back. Your photos are beautiful, as usual. Barbara

ReplyDeleteI think of him whenever I see, or smell those lovely blossoms.
Breathtaking!
PS. I didn't mean those ACTUAL blossoms, as I don't live in New York!
the bees alone are enough to make me smile.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to recall the lucious fragrance of lilacs. Soon, the pendulous blossoms will bloom here too. Wonderful walking with you.
