A Post about Nothing

How nice to have a garden on the roof.....

23rd Street

at home time to either eat the pears or chuck them out

time to read The New Yorker

bake veggies for soup

make soup

show people some trains

  1. I love the soft colors of your "Nothing" post. To hang on to that oldish fruit, eta it, or toss it when it really needs to go...when there will be less guilt? The soup looks like just the thing for an Oct. day. Is that Henry? He is so handsome.

  2. {{ i am making U
    a train
    of love
    as Your Boy is plum cute!}}

  3. Lovely all of it- especially the little lad with trains...Book finally arrived, I am saving it for our flight.

  4. Your boy is adorable! (My boy loves trains, too)

  5. Definitely not nothing. This post is filled with joy, brilliant observation and a true sense of valuing time.

  6. how lovely and rich a day!

  7. "nothing" appeared to be an intersting subject!:)

  8. if you still have the pears...why not roast them with some onions to go with pork chops...or go easy and get some runny cheese.

    henry is very cute!

  9. I'm assuming the train shower offer was not the soup maker. It does look good

  10. Much ado about nothing . . . but your nothing is so beautiful. Most of our lives are about nothing really but you show us that they are not just a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage (with all due respect to the Bard). The candle may be brief but the light is lovely, however simple.

    Great post!

  11. If it is nothing then i wonder how interesting something would be. Really nice pics especially of the small boy.

  12. The soup looks good and how your darling little grandson is growing.

I look forward to hearing from you!
