Waiting for the bus opposite London Terrace
I notice it all wobbly and upside down in the puddle
who knew what cool stuff was hanging out in there
a time of year when you have to skip over the puddles at the corners
or stand in them in new red welly-boots.
a good time of year to haunt the flower shop where
they're busy making arrangements
I tweaked the color of this one while waiting
for a blast of color to take home.
Love how you captured the reflection in the puddle. You capture NY beautifully even on wet days.ReplyDelete
The first two photos are really a hit! Enjoyed to look at them - very special...!ReplyDelete
All others are super, too.
Our world is white here now!

You bought beautiful flowers!ReplyDelete
The first two photo are especially wonderful !
Wow, amazing photos! NY always looks stunning, even in the rain.ReplyDelete
Puddles never looked better! :-)ReplyDelete
Love your previous post too.
Those first two "puddle photos" are so gorgeous. You should print them and enter them in a show or sell them...or something. They are really special...in my humble opinion.ReplyDelete
I love your "puddle" pictures. Another lovely walk around your beautiful city.ReplyDelete
Love all your photos. Did the florist catch you tweaking the colors of his/her arrangements?ReplyDelete
Nothing like flowers this time of year to get rid of the drearies.
Even the puddles in New York are cool!ReplyDelete
Rain in the city and flowers inside!ReplyDelete
The top two look like paintings in a way. They would look nice matted in white with a black frame hanging as a pair!ReplyDelete
I love, love, love (puddle) reflection pics. It's a matter of being in the right place at the right time - and having your camera with you! First two pics are great! Colours are great too. Well spotted!ReplyDelete
Your black & whites are stunning! Okay, they're ALL stunning. ♥ReplyDelete
What beautiful puddle pictures, the colors are great! They are really special, I agree they could be prize winning photos.ReplyDelete
I love how you capture your beautiful city!ReplyDelete
Hope ALL is well.
Fun photography in this post. It's been a while since I bought flowers...I had no idea of the cost! They are very beautiful though.ReplyDelete
Wow! You really got my attention with those fabulous colours, textures and upside down worlds in the puddle pictures. Wonderful stuff! And I love the feeling of standing right there on the street in the black and white and red all over street scenes. The flower pix are nice, too, but it's those others that really knock my socks off.ReplyDelete
Wonderful photos. I, too, love the puddle pics, but the series taken as a whole provides a lovely range of subject, perspective, & technique. Always enjoy your posts.ReplyDelete
