A Day on Long Island

Celeste has brought back a little lusterware jug from France.
We need to catch up over tea

and a dip in a friend's pool.
The fish is a new thing to do with chlorine.

The sun casts bright midday shadows.

Paint crunching off the table, matching the out of control petunia.

Paint crunching off the chair.

  12. I went to Long Island once when my plane was canceled, sadly I did not get to see much of it. Maybe one day I will get the chance to see it in the daylight. It looked so opulent.

  14. I just adore that chair, and love the 'crunching' red paint on the table, great texture. Makes me want to put all my painted furniture out in the rain for a while.
