I'm off to London this evening. These photos are from a previous trip.
Obviously, lots and lots to do. Family to see and museums and restaurants and hotels
and all the sights and buses and bookshops.............
The sepia tone is meant to indicate nostalgia.......but really London
is much better nowadays than when I was growing up when it was
grimy and a bit grim before it got to be fun in the 'swinging 60's'
That top photograph is possibly one of the loveliest I've seen of London. Very much look forward to seeing what you snap on this trip, have a great time.ReplyDelete
Wonderful photos- as always, dear Elizabeth! I love London- it´s so long time ago, that I´ve been there... so I hope, you enjoyed that trip and back in New York you can enjoy the wonderful photos!ReplyDelete
Thank you- hugs, Ines
Oh, how I miss London! Thanks for sharing these shots. Have fun and have a safe trip!ReplyDelete
SOOOO envious! Good timing to go there before the onslaught of tourists I hope! You will have a wonderful time! BUSTER? He could travel as a guide dog...ReplyDelete
Stunning photos of The Big Smoke...eminently frame-worthy! Bon voyage, Elizabeth...wish we could meet up. Don't suppose there is the remotest chance you'd be coming up this way? I've been banned by drs.from travelling away from here at the moment so I'm stuck in the wilds of Norfolk...which is not too awful as spring has decided to be as beautiful as it possibly could be this year! It is only an hour and 40 mins from London to King's Lynn....we could come and collect you and take you out for a yummy lunch (Norfolk is a foodie paradise!) and you could be back in London in time for the opera/ballet/theatre/ or bed and book!ReplyDelete
Have a wonderful time. I'm jealous. I've had some great times in London.ReplyDelete
Can't wait to see what you'll photograph.
We were in London today, and although there was not a sepia-tone the sky DID get rather moody and dark at times.ReplyDelete
Lovely flowers in Regent's Park. You will be here for the best of it all. Happy, safe trip to you!
Have a fun trip....BarbReplyDelete

Have a brilliant trip, there's some fabulous exhibitions on at the moment and you'll be here for the election!
Please share all shots upon return...
That Sepia effect made the magic as you said....lovely lovely pics...a very attractive blog...and yes....thanks for the visit and comment..about your visit to India.....I am glad you planned well your tour and visited the right places and right persons.....glad that you had a nice time here in India.....(though like any other nation...there are thorns here too...and happy that you found only roses on your visit...after all a rose is more beautiful with a few thorns and leaves around...)ReplyDelete
Hope you are having a great time and are not caught in this second ash cloud. The photos are interesting.ReplyDelete
