At last!
Warm enough to be outdoors.
To head to the lower East Side...
not my usual stamping ground.
Anyway, I'm totally mesmerized by the sky.
Not quite warm enough to eat outside, though some people did.
A favorite diner with turkey sandwiches
and pierogi.
Took a cab home - though, sadly, not this one.
In the afternoon, I spotted three chums on a bench looking oddly like triplets.
Hello Elizabeth:
ReplyDeleteHow welcome these blue skies must be to you after what, if we read everything correctly, has been the most dreadful winter in and around New York as well, of course, as other parts of the United States.
On Good Friday we enjoyed our first lunch of the year eaten outside under equally blue skies but with the addition of warm sunshine.
Lovely Springlike photographs Elizabeth - they are so cheery.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteThe sky's out of this world, playfully so.
Warm hugs,
Merisi
Hooray for blue skies!! They've been a long time coming.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Blue Skies and No more snow !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Lovely to see things looking less wintery. Love the triplets and the al fresco diners, one actually wearing dark glasses! Almost summer....
ReplyDeleteWonderful street shots and pretty little clouds!! I hope you had a nice weekend!! : )

What fabulous blue sky pictures, Elizabeth! You must be thrilled to have spring at last after your severe winter.
ReplyDeleteThank you for keeping in touch on my neglected blog. Too much going on these days! When are you coming to London again? Do let me know if you do.
xx
Isn't it wonderful!!
