A Day at the Beach

Spring -- at last!

Crescent Beach in Huntington, Long Island, with the Sound crystalline clear.

A young man on the shore...

with his mother and sister

who finds important things on the beach

and to put in her pail.

Swings

a thing to hang from

then lunch. A splendid outing altogether.

  4. That sky gives me hope....we're shrouded in fog today at zero degrees centigrade rising to a balmy four by lunchtime. Oh joy. I wish I was in NY!

  7. Can you believe how warm the air (and perhaps also the sea) has become?

Your tiny folks are getting less tiny by the month. They continue to be adorable.

  14. Love the violet shading near the water's edge, and that polka-dot bonnet on the toddler. She is showing good fashion and sun sense at a young age :)

  15. Looks quite warm on the beach but the water must be cold this time of year.
