On the whole, I prefer things up rather close so they aren't so overwhelming.

I really wanted to take a picture of the uptown doorman with his swanky uniform.

Then this character said," What about me?"

Everyone wants their photo taken in Central Park.

And after Central Park, Bergdorf Goodman's windows.

What impossible elegance.

How one can gaze and gaze.

Altogether too much color lately.
Here another group of planters between 14th and 13th Street - there are even more outside the Apple store.
Maybe people are winning in the battle against traffic?
