The End of February





The New york City Public Schools were closed today much to the delight of the local children.



Time to go to the park and make snowballs.



In the afternoon a slight thaw set in.



A twisted willow tree  freighted with fluffy snow on 21st Street.

    The photo of the ice covered vine wowie! and the willow! wowie again! Nice to get out in the thick of it even if your fur balls up with snow and ice. You get such beautiful results!

    buses were cancelled in my little city but the schools stayed open. the kids atyed away in droves!!! the snow here was gorgeous and i have to say that the icicle photo is brilliant and wickedgood!!! steven

    How beautiful! My son is in Brooklyn, and he said the first night it snowed he went home around 11 pm and came out f the subway to a pure snow-covered street, before the plows. He said it was gorgeous.
