The construction and destruction never ends there does it...and what a perfect Windsor shadow on a perfect summer's day...good catch...I'll have a bit of sugar in my tea please...
I like them all for different reasons, too long for a dialogue here! Christo could take a look at how builders are wrapping their activities, or is it the other way round. I like the way we can see what is going on behind the wrapping! The colours are gorgeous.
We enjoyed all your pictures...shadows or not! The ones from the market are bursting with color, and the ones about NY style, made us smile!!! Thank you!
Hi! Just visited your Daughter's site. Fantastic pictures! Now I know why you were "bragging"!! LOL!!!...That what we, moms, do best isn't it??? Thank you for the lovely visit!
There are some reddish leaves on our trees now. The weather doesn't know that it is summer, either. I think that the cloud cover you were experiencing earlier this summer moved east!
As for construction, it seemed like every block in Barcelona was under the jackhammer. Someone told me that all of that city construction is an attempt to keep people employed during the recession.
I love detail shots like these. :-) The most interesting things to me are seeing beauty in the commonplace, or in unexpected places. You do that so well.
