and sometimes other places
The construction and destruction never ends there does it...and what a perfect Windsor shadow on a perfect summer's day...good catch...I'll have a bit of sugar in my tea please...
HI!Great shadows! I really like the one on the chair! Have a great day!Sherriehttp://sherrie-plummer.blogspot.com/2009/07/shadow-shot-sunday_26.html
Lovely ... I had no idea it was called a Windsor chair, we had one, gave it to my sister not long ago .. I wonder if she knows ...
I like them all for different reasons, too long for a dialogue here! Christo could take a look at how builders are wrapping their activities, or is it the other way round. I like the way we can see what is going on behind the wrapping! The colours are gorgeous.
The old Windsor chairinvites me to rest my boneshere in the shadows. My Shadow Shots
Your last picture really says "summer". Your photographs are always a pleasure.
We enjoyed all your pictures...shadows or not! The ones from the market are bursting with color, and the ones about NY style, made us smile!!! Thank you!
I love that photo of the chair, what a wonderful little patch of bright sunlight and shadow...
Hi! Just visited your Daughter's site. Fantastic pictures! Now I know why you were "bragging"!! LOL!!!...That what we, moms, do best isn't it??? Thank you for the lovely visit!
These compositions are so pleasing to the eye. I think I like the last one the best!
Really terrific shadow shots! Great composition!Enjoy your day!Sylvia
Always love your shadow shots. The Windsor chair is a winner.
Love those chair shadows e.Glad you are joining in the Wednesday meme.
love the second photo - very nice :)
There are some reddish leaves on our trees now. The weather doesn't know that it is summer, either. I think that the cloud cover you were experiencing earlier this summer moved east!As for construction, it seemed like every block in Barcelona was under the jackhammer. Someone told me that all of that city construction is an attempt to keep people employed during the recession.
I love the way you compose your photos. :)
The chair shadow is one that you look at and say to yourself, Why haven't I noticed that before? Those leaves--reminders that winter is coming. Enjoy summer while you can!
I love the chair shadows, so pretty.

Wonderful old Windsor chair. Any interesting story behind it?
I love detail shots like these. :-) The most interesting things to me are seeing beauty in the commonplace, or in unexpected places. You do that so well.
