and sometimes other places
The clouds have definitely been delicious this year in DC, too.Love the billow. (Actually I love that word.)And the crane does seem evil ... wonder why?
Pretty ... on the way back from VA this Sunday we did a lot of cloud watching/analyzing ...
Wow, what is that building? Looks like it's going to obscure the view of the Empire State a bit from someone's vantage...
wow!! you have taken some of the best shots!!
Lovely cloud shots.
Love the Balloons ...
That first cloud is out of this world pretty! I love the whole set, billowing text encluded. ;-)
love the 2nd to last pic Elizabeth - really well done!
I have noticed the most amazing clouds around NYC this summer! I have taken so many photos of them...it's becoming a cloud obsession :-)
Clouds are works of art in themselves - love these billowy ones and also the balloons pretending to be clouds - whatever their colour.
What is that building that is going up?Love all the delicious color in the last shot!
Something about balloons that is cheery and joyful. Clouds all have a personality of their own. I love the contrast of rolling white against the bright blue. Really enjoyed your photos!
Your first cloud pic looks like a giant jelly fish. And the last is most definitley an N.C. Wyeth sky. Those ballons looks luscious!
we've had some luscious skies recently...except of course yesterday!
Great cloud pics and always love to see that statuesque building. What is that being built near the Empire? Huge! The balloons are a fabulous contrast..
Baloons ARE pretending to be clouds! LOLGreat skies! But more, please, on that upstart building near the E.S.Aloha, SistahComfort Spiral
What a fun post...you have captured those clouds beautifully..and the colourful one too. Big hugs for the weekend :P
Supposedly that ugly building is a new luxury high rise apartment. I visited someone's beautiful apartment that overlooks Union Square with unobstructed views of all of Midtown, and that building has obscured the Empire State Building view of half of the building. Can you imagine buying an apt with a million dollar view (literally) only to have it destroyed??? Stinks.
I look forward to hearing from you!
