Lovely shadow shot!
I love the simple greyish quality of colour here, and the darker vertical trunk of a young tree surrounded by the pebbles. An oriental touch here as opposed to the usual busy plant look.
Quiet stones and a shadowy walkway all in monochrome! So very beautiful!

Shadows mean sunshine, which is always nice and dappled shade also. All we seem to be having at the moment is rain and more rain.

dappled things. Not sure who it is by - have a feeling it might be Manley Hopkins - but it sprang to mind when I saw your dappled shadowing Elizabeth - I must look it up. (although some bloggy pal might tell us if we wait a day or two.)

Zen garden-ish. Nice neutral colors, dappled shadows and smooth rocks.
How very zen like, so restful, I'd walk there too...they almost look like bamboo shadows.
