Out and About in London

Opposite the bus stop. Kentish Town.

The local. Note the name.

A Wren church seen from the bus in Aldwych.

The South Bank. Outside the Festival Hall. 5pm.

Dusk over the Thames.

Rather chilly for icecream --but cheerful nonetheless.

  1. Can't beleive you're just 'up the road' in London Town. Looks like you're having fun. Have you been to Brick Lane yet, I wonder. Great for a foretaste of India!

  2. Outside the Wren church, was the employee drinking? Or do squiggly lines mean something to an English driver that we yanks can't figure out?

  6. I've always thought it was a good thing of using caution around children... they can be very dangerous!

  8. Looks like you're having a great time! Love those zigzaggy traffic lines painted on the street in your church pic.

  9. I guess the zig zag lines are for cautioning the incoming traffic about the pedestrians crossing the road.. Is that right? Love the pics.

Your brother says the squiggly lines mean to swerve a few times before you run someone over.
