Morning sun hits the side of a building on 34th Street near Macy's.

Wonderful photos Elizabeth! You do get about...MM of NY
ReplyDeleteI love all your shots, especially the last one of the sign. Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!

ReplyDeleteIt is such fun to see NYC through your eyes.
ReplyDeleteDoes the Dumpling House have soup dumplings? I am looking for a place in NYC that has them...my son introduced me to soup dumplings some years ago :)

Wonderful! I love Chinatown, the LES, all that area.
ReplyDeleteYou have some great photos.
Weaver:Yes, the sky is indeed a very bright blue here - very different from the subtle muted tones one often gets in England.
ReplyDeleteMo'a: There is a super soup dumpling place called shanghai. I would have to look it up precisely.
O... how I love NY!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous sky.
ReplyDeleteScallion pancakes...hmmm....
Beautiful photos, as usual, Elizabeth. And I see blue sky!
ReplyDeleteI Most certainly would buy several copies of the book you must put together of your NYC shots! Each one is a story, maybe several, and there are so many photos that , especially from your view point are absolutely perfectly wonderful, Dear Elizabeth- all of them- always!---brilliant!
ReplyDeletemy fav, the first shot! - so powerful and love the light and dark contrast....
ReplyDeleteYour opening photo is delightfully clean and bright! I wonder if the economy is effecting all the construction in the city?
ReplyDeleteAll wonderful shadows. Love all the reflections in the second shot. I want to go to Dumpling House for pancakes! Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday Elizabeth :)
ReplyDeleteI dig how the first photo is in blues, second has the pop of rusty orange, then was the pink?, and then the green. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteYour photos make my day, and I live here! They capture the moment or, as Rinkly Rimes says, 'Gotcha' in 'Extra, Extra' on my blog!
ReplyDeleteClean and bright indeed, Elizabeth! Fantastic shots of NY! :)
ReplyDeleteHello Elizabeth! Love the crisp lines of that first picture!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week!!
My husband and I have always toyed with the idea of naming our house. Owl Cottage seemed appropriate, but we change it often to fit our current whims. I personally like Dumpling House very much!!
ReplyDeleteLove your shots. The Big Apple looks like a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteScallion pancakes, old reflected in new, witty get-ups ... nothing shadowing at all, but real life going on.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh! You have us all craving blue skies and delicious dumplings. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI've never had a scallion pancake, but now I want one!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your photos, Elizabeth...of the city from the other side, and opposite corner, of the USA from where I live.
love the reflections!!
ReplyDeleteNice blog....
