Things Seen From My Window

This  precariously positioned character, attached to the facade of a building on 23rd Street, advertises a dance club.

When Ms/Mr Liberty (on the corner of 8th Avenue on Monday) saw his photo, he said, "Oh no! All the points are hanging down."
He was handing out flyers for an insurance company.

Yesterday, I saw other members of his tribe approaching.

The man without a costume would prefer not to be seen with them.

  8. hilarious! They look like sea creatures scooting around- what a way to make a dollar!
Love the dance figure-looks more like a guy trying to escape an act of "somewhere he should not have been". Great shots of the surreal out your window!

  9. Every year our next door neighbor where I work hires students to wander the streets in Miss Liberty costumes. They process tax forms. I guess this year the kids are more hungry. As where you are, the guys are putting on the blue dress as well.

  13. Finally, color, something other than black and white. When are New Yorkers going to realize, color is good. A tribe of Liberty(s) going to work. I wonder where they live and will the start a revolution in fashion? Only time will tell.
