What a mood we had last night, Elizabeth...and this morning, right before the sunrise, I saw it big and bulging, a bright white against an awakening sky of gradient of silvery blues behind a curtain of tree brunches... breathtaking!
Yes, a lovely shot of the moon - I have yet to see it for real! Rinkly Rimes will be wondering, after all my bragging, about watching out for this particular moon! MM of NY
Beautiful shot of the moon. We were having dinner at Reelfoot Lake last night when the moon was rising. It was a huge ball of orange and the refection on the lake was breathtaking! I should have had my camera with me. Kim
What a dreamy moon glow...very magical, mysterious and so beautiful. The night sky has been delicious lately with such a big moon...So the Giants lost...I'm not a huge follow of football, but it's always interesting how these last games go before the Super Bowl! Happy week! :o) ((HUGS))
Is it called the Wolf Moon because it inspires viewers to bay at it?
ReplyDeleteLovely shimmering stuff. Our night sky was thick with cloud, so I might as well enjoy the NYC sky - thanks!
That is one beautiful shot..and why is it called Wolf Moon..I have no idea, hearing it for the first time ;D
ReplyDeleteMoody moon...beautiful! Our interview deed is done. Come over and check it out! Thanks for the tough questions! :-> <3
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The moon was beautiful last night. Did I take a picture of it nestled among the live oaks and magnolia's. Noooo. Sorry about those Giants.
ReplyDeleteI missed the moon here in grey, grey Ohio. Your shot is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the Giants. Cool place to watch, though.

ReplyDeleteYes, it is the Wolf Moon, no less.
ReplyDeleteIt takes clouds to bring character to the moon, and how well they succeed in doing so.
A very nice picture.
Good moon photo!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the Giants. I was cheering for them too. Probably won't see this full moon. Too cloudy.
