  11. OH YES OH YES OH YES!!!

Just got tears in my eyes as I saw he and Bush walk out of the white house, side by side, into their limos to take that ride - Bush's last, taking Barak to the podium to pass the baton.

I said aloud: may god bless you and keep you, may god bless you and keep you, may god bless you and keep you SAFE

  14. Sorry---not going to join in the love fest. Gonna hold my opinions until I see what happens to my taxes and the US economy. Was not pleased with the last eight years but I'm not kissing anybodys feet now, either.

Tyranny, is the absolute correct word for the Bush horror!

  16. I never watch the inaugurals, but this year I was glued to the set...what an exciting day of hope for humanity!
And I too felt the grip of tyranny in my country, afraid to call my dog a terrorist, for being dragged away by the men in black...Homeland Security.

We all pray for an honest man as our leader...let this be one!

  23. The BBC coverage mentioned the incredible sales in t-shirts . . . and suggested that the economy would be instantly lifted if other goods and services were selling so well. (I wonder how they did with the cupcakes?)
