Oh,Well....

Waiting for the bus and walking the dog
are rather damp occupations lately.
This morning.

But yesterday afternoon the sky was blue
and there was a little hole in the cloud.
LilyHydrangea thinks it looks like an eye.
So then I thought of Keats:

When I behold, upon the night's starr'd face,
Huge cloudy symbols of a high romance.......

And Hamlet to Polonious:

Do you see yonder cloud that's almost in shape of a camel?

ps. maybe I should get a day job......

pss Lala's beautiful plate post from Spain is here.

  1. I must be imagining things because that hole in the cloud looks like an eye to me, like a profile of someone's face.
I hope we get more blue skies today.

  2. I don't mind walking the dog in the rain but I do mind waiting for the bus in the rain. ;-)

  7. It was so great to wake up to sunshine this morning.
Yes definitely an eye and a face to go with it.

  8. No, no camel, but I do see that pencil thin building in the distance, or is it just the shadow side of a building....!!

  9. I agree with Lily Hydrangea--that looks like a face in profile. A Falstaff kind of face.

Hoping for blue skies for you!

  10. Happy Monday to you, Elizabeth - I do hope it stops raining on New York soon. And, no, I really tried, but I couldn't find an almost camel.

PS. Please don't get a day job...we'd miss you too much! So would Buster (did you name him after the sweet Buster who wondered in and chose to live with your Mama for a while during the war?)

  11. oh, Katherine, that first shot is really good - when it's enlarged you can see the woman in blue looking right at your camera and everyone else faces away in their own thoughts - I really like it! your last post was fabulous also - every shot just wonderful :)
