Even Better at Night: The High Line Continued

The new after supper entertainment: walking on the High Line.

Tuesday evening is misty. The Empire State Building
looms beyond the General Theological Seminary.

Deniz walks past illuminated grasses.

In the distance, the lights of Jersey.

Department of VerySmallWorld: I comment on the High
Line blog. Salmaan Khan, one of my former students, responds.
He works for the High Line.

  7. Love the mood, ELizabeth. I think someone should take down the billboard though...they can attract so much attention...which is the point, I supppose. New York comes to life at night...even the swaying grasses-lovely.<3

  14. I love, more than any other thing about NY, the way the mist affects the lighting around those iconic buildings. It doesn't seem to happen in other cities in quite the same way.
