A Cheerful Day/Shadow Shot Sunday -early

This first somewhat seasonal picture is for Hey Harriet's Shadow Shot Sunday.
See here for other cool shadow shots.

A sunny Halloween morning walk took us past the psychic's shop. I'm always a little dubious about these since they often look a little down-at-heels.
This one looked more prosperous.

The dancing skeleton banner was a new one on me. It decorates a rather lovely brownstone on 22nd Street.

At Union Square a whole troup of charmingly costumed pre-schoolers passed by.

  2. Cool SSS as usual. We dont have 'psychics' here (are they the ones who can tell your fortunes, futures etc)..but we have the traditional ones..even spookier. As usual, LOVE the children pictures, they are so cute! Have a splendid weekend :D

  7. Love the subtle shadows in the 1st and 3rd shots. However, my favourite must be the 2nd image with the delightful dance of shadows on the wall!

  13. I have always been very curious about one day slipping through a psychic's door. I don't think I ever will though. I love that your shot makes me ponder these yearnings once more.
