This picture taken about seven in the morning.
The rising sun catching the underside of the clouds.
This picture is for Mrs.Nesbitt's ABC Wednesday. Go here for lots of other participants.
This angel is in the window of ABC Carpet which is oddly appropriate.
Coming from a little hick town in Iowa, your shots of the daily life of the New Yorker is just magical...a world unto itself, such trend-setters, all on an agenda of their own...I envy that. Thanks for the tours!
ReplyDeleteLovely morning clouds. And that angel looks like she is preparing to usher in the Christmas season.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely in England today--sun and blue skies. Hurray!
The angel is nice, with the car rear end reflection.....
ReplyDeleteI like your celestial theme! The colors in the two photographs are so soft and harmonious.
ReplyDeleteYour address was wrong without a dot between newyork and blogspot.
ReplyDeleteMay be you should correct it.
Otherwise you 'll be quite quiet with few comments.
That angel looks so ethereal against the reflection of the city.
ReplyDeleteYour heavenly pink clouds and lovely angel go hand in hand perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI love those pink clouds and I am envious of New York shops!
ReplyDeleteLovely sky!
ReplyDeleteIt's clever to find quietness in a city like New York.Good word for Q.
ReplyDeleteTremendous cloud... Bet that color didn't last long...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quiet sky :)
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of the sky in that photo. It seems like the angel would rather be there instead of in a carpeting store. The pink car before the red bushes in the post below was so funny. Only in Long Island.
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos friend. Love traveling about your city with you.
Thank you. It's nice bumping into an angel at ABC. Works well for an ABC Wednesday!
Hope all is well!
with love,
Constance
Lovely clouds. What a pretty angel, looks like she's preparing for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful clouds, love the two different colours and that angel..there's serenity just looking at her :D
ReplyDeleteThe clouds on your quiet morning are beautiful. I invite you to come take a ride on my quad into the Powell River, BC, back country. - Margy
ReplyDeleteVery relaxing indeed nice quiet day and nice quieting view! Q is such a hard letter!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, maybe you would like to join my bloggy anniversary giveaway :)

What a sky!
ReplyDeleteThose clouds are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI wish your pictures could actually give me some quiet. Living in an old house with 4 tenants upstairs and a busy street out front means NO quiet time, ever it seems. I'm glad Grandma is, well Grandma. We may have to stop by on our way back from ND and MN after Christmas. Long story and will let you know more when I know more. Much love to you and R. XOXOXOX
ReplyDeleteQuiet is such a great idea for Q. I couldn't think of any words when I was trying to think of something. I am impressed with the things everyone came up with. Hope you are having a lovely week! God bless.
ReplyDeleteOh, how I would love shop ABC at Christmastime!
ReplyDeletePerfect illustration of quiet! I love that first photo, and the interesting thing is that it's that tiny piece of a structure in the bottom left corner that makes it so good! Without that to provide contrast, the sky would be just ... sky!
ReplyDeleteOn behalf of the ABC Wednesday team, thank you for taking part this week! :)
