Things that grow in sand
and the path to the sea.
Perfect weather and Connecticut in the far distance.
Sunday morning and no one on the beach
the water clear and brisk at first
looking East to the Lilco Towers.
The treasures of the picnic table
and more vegetation by the car.
so pleased you had a day
ReplyDeleteat the beach...
i vow to Never take
my own beach
for-granted
and
do wish
i could share it with you
some
day
♥
ooh I can feel the heat from the pictures.... which is more than I can feel from the streets of gloomy wet London!!
ReplyDeleteLoving the beach! The stickeries by the car look ...stickery.
ReplyDeleteLove the muted colors of the beach combings.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth, I so love your beach photos, and as I was looking at them and imagining the sound of the sea, I wondered if you were finding any shells.
ReplyDeleteAnd presto! There they were on a picnic table top.
How I used to love searching for shells at childhood beaches in Virginia or North Carolina. That seems a lifetime ago now, but you've brought back a very sweet memory.
Thank you. xo
What a gorgeous place!
