Walking on the beach is one of the purest pleasures I know.
It's all Mr.Bird knows, though he wonders if we have sandwiches, and, if we do, can he have one too?
Looking west
looking down
at the birds
and a splendid large shell
and at shadows.
Heading back over the causeway stretches over the Great South Bay.
I approve of the color they painted the bridge.

Oh to be able to see blue skies and wear few clothes. I can imagine the feeling of the water between my toes on that glorious beach.

Elizabeth, I can imagine you in this beautiful place (with lots of sunscreen, of course) and really love the photo with the sharp lined shadow from the wire basket.

NYC is now just a tad more bearable, but please do continue to have that beach access as long as you may.

I TOTALLY agree with you. Though we have a lot of beaches here...somehow, I dont know why we dont go as often. I love the photos and want to go to one beach soon, maybe next month when we have short break. Happy weekend soon :)
