42nd Street

I have been let loose with a new (free) phone app called Instagram.
This may not be a good thing but fun anyway....

Life on the bus in late rush hour. 8th Avenue and 42nd Street.
Not a part of town I'm often in.

42nd Street itself --so brash, glitzy and exciting.

  1. Hello Elizabeth!! Thanks for your Greetings from New York and I send you some kind regards back from Germany!! I have to go to the hospital next week, unfortunately I have cancer, luckily at the beginning. The doctors are hopeful. And me too!

    Best wishes!!

  2. Bad typos in first message so I deleted it.

I Love Bryan Park but not as much as I love that library!

    Enjoy your new app!

  4. I can't see the middle one and feel horribly deprived!

And the others - vitality, lovely vitality.

  5. I was thinking of getting an i-phone just to take photos, just for the instagram app. How weird is that ! because I am the only person in the world who uses her phone for calling people and that is about it.
Japanese son told me he could find a program similar for my computer. I hope so I really like the intense color.

    Great photos today !

    cheers, parsnip

  9. So many people. Such big buildings. So much business happening everywhere. So different from our sleepy little college town. And so exciting. Super photos. Your phone app works great.

  10. Elizabeth, please do keep that phone, and its apps, and all your wise observations at the ready, and hop another bus, uptown, downtown, eastside or westside.

    I love these photos! xo
