Union Square

Lots of people about on a Saturday morning.

I was very taken with this woman's color co-ordination.....

and this wildflower bouquet.
The only trouble with wildflowers is that they wilt so very soon.

 Red peppers and green peppers

and lo and behold, cabbages. I imagine all these beauties gracing
kitchen tables just waiting to be chopped up.

We'll add onions and make soup straight away....

(We could add parsnips and funny little squash or save them to be roasted later.)

Who knew how many flowers were edible?

The callas were enchanting.

My main blog is now here
