Two Good Things
Impossible to find anything bad to say about bicycles.
Eco-friendly, good for your health.
Blah blah.
This one is more than utilitarian; it is stylish.
This dog is also stylish. I'm not quite sure what it is exactly.
I think one of the new hybrid poodle- somethings who have hair instead of fur.
He/she was sitting on the window sill at either doggy day-care or the dog beauty salon looking about him or her.
I liked him.
Then he (I'll call him/her/it he for the purposes of brevity) stood up so I could get another picture.
Then a very polite young woman came out and asked me not to take pictures.
Perhaps she thought I was planning to dognap him.
Don't think I wasn't tempted.

Oooh - like the bike! And the pooch is kinda cute too :)
ReplyDeleteI havent ridden a bike for the longest time...now that's bad, I should for its great exercise. Dognap? with such a cute dog..I am sure many have that in mind :D
ReplyDeleteI would love to own that stylish lavender bike! I keep saying I need to get one. And I haven't ridden a bike for ever so long, either!
ReplyDeleteNIce bike, mine is black and stylish in a different way. You were asked not to take pictures of the dog??? Maybe she thought you should pay for the privelege.
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteCould that dog be a Labradoodle or whatever the blend of a Lab and a Poodle is called? They are supposed to be the very best dog to own as far as intelligence and disposition, and of course they are trendy...lol
I just came back from Denver, Colorado and so many people there bicycle ride to work and the store, etc. It is not an unusual sight, and bike racks were everywhere. Good exercise with a purpose.
Are you going to the Greenwich Village Halloween parade? I will be there with my husband, watching it for the first time, as it's something I've always wanted to do and decided this is the year!
A camera shy pooch...hmmmmm
ReplyDeleteI saw the MOST wonderful bicycle last night, black and white flowers, lime green rims, rainbow colored seat...lucsious!
I'd like that bike and a pair of chuck taylor sneakers to match. Of course, I'd never ride the bike but I'd look awfully cute posing next to it in my matching sneakers!
ReplyDeleteMaybe when I'm older. Then I can dye my hair to match it!
Your photographs are beautiful. I'm glad to have found your blog! I especially ove those night shots.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a Labradoodle - even the name is silly. They supposedly have Lab personalities and don't aggravate allergies. They cost a fortune, but that sounds uptight about the photos. Only in New York....
ReplyDeleteAdorable dog! And a pink bike! Perfect mode of transportation.
ReplyDeleteI bought a similar new bike this year...sadly not a great color like that one. I have to say, after not having ridden a bike in oohhh say 25-30 years...it's not as easy as it was when I was a child. I certainly never remembered getting tired before. Bah!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of a dog that doesn't shed.
