and sometimes other places
Oh my, those folk on the bus don't look very happy at all! Maybe they are on their way to work? I sometimes look like that in the mornings on my way to work ;)That first photo is so cool. I don't know what it is & I don't care that you don't know what it is, but what it is is cool. Did that make sense? Possibly not. It's very late in the evening here. Almost Monday now. Bedtime methinks! Enjoy your Sunday :)
Hi Elizabeth,I like the small hand print and the blurry type of shadow. very nice. That dress in your previous post is quite nice too.
These photographs are lovely - they are the complete antithesis of my countryside ones - that is why I enjoy looking at them!
These are awesome shots, shadows or no. I love the hand print in the first shot.
I actually am entranced by the last shot-the shadows and purple shading. I appreciate your photographic 'eye', seeing beauty where other people would only see graffiti.
Nice shots! Happy Sunday, even if those grumps were on the bus with you!
Like the shadows and lighting of the last two shots. Good eye to catch that last one Elizabeth. It's true no one seems to smile anymore on buses or in stores - it's almost as if life is such a burden...
Wow! I love your blog / photos (my first time here)!!
Public transport always brings out the stoic in people. I've noticed that in cities around the world, people simply just go somewhere inside themselves en route to someplace else.
One of the biggest disappointments of my life was the glum attitude of people on the Paris subway!! I'd imagined them all with roses between their teeth looking romantic!
You did great getting shadows..Good shots.
the first picture is so cool..did look a bit creepy too but cool. Aw.. why are the people not happy, maybe they frown at going to work. Happy week ahead :D
All wonderful shadow shots. LOL! You're right. No one on the bus looks happy. Oh well.Paz
Hello Elizabeth, thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog!I like your photo blog, too!
Hey! That's me on the bus! Just kidding :) There really IS something rather mystical about that first picture - maybe it's the hand print :)Great SSS! Thanks for sharing your city pictures.
You are brave Elizabeth, taking a photo inside the bus.
I too love the first one, draws you in. I enjoyed your post above as well at the park, beautful photos especially the last one, could go for sSS as well!!
I look forward to hearing from you!
