Trip

I'm off to London this evening. These photos are from a previous trip.
Obviously, lots and lots to do. Family to see and museums and restaurants and hotels
and all the sights and buses and bookshops.............

The sepia tone is meant to indicate nostalgia.......but really London
is  much better nowadays than when I was growing up when it was
grimy and a bit grim before it got to be fun in the 'swinging 60's'

  5. Stunning photos of The Big Smoke...eminently frame-worthy! Bon voyage, Elizabeth...wish we could meet up. Don't suppose there is the remotest chance you'd be coming up this way? I've been banned by drs.from travelling away from here at the moment so I'm stuck in the wilds of Norfolk...which is not too awful as spring has decided to be as beautiful as it possibly could be this year! It is only an hour and 40 mins from London to King's Lynn....we could come and collect you and take you out for a yummy lunch (Norfolk is a foodie paradise!) and you could be back in London in time for the opera/ballet/theatre/ or bed and book!

  7. We were in London today, and although there was not a sepia-tone the sky DID get rather moody and dark at times.

Lovely flowers in Regent's Park. You will be here for the best of it all. Happy, safe trip to you!
