Celeste has brought back a little lusterware jug from France.
We need to catch up over tea
and a dip in a friend's pool.
The sun casts bright midday shadows.
Paint crunching off the table, matching the out of control petunia.
Paint crunching off the chair.
"paint crunching" is gorgeous - almost as gorgeous as the bouquet. sweet day. steven

I went to Long Island once when my plane was canceled, sadly I did not get to see much of it. Maybe one day I will get the chance to see it in the daylight. It looked so opulent.
ReplyDeleteOh My- these shots of your day are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI just adore that chair, and love the 'crunching' red paint on the table, great texture. Makes me want to put all my painted furniture out in the rain for a while.
ReplyDeleteDoes that fish really lives there, how interesting :P
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful... Everything was eye candy. :)
ReplyDeleteLove all the texture and sensuality of this post, Elizabeth...Looks like it was a great day! :o) ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteI want so much to dive into that pool! Or read a book in the rocker. Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteI like all of the shades of orange in this collection. That lusterware jug is gorgeous, but who made up the equally lovely bouquet?
ReplyDeleteIf I had a friend with a pool then I might even learn how to swim. I'm very good floating around on a lilo though :)
