Winter

In the depths of winter, vegetables, like people, get chilly.

The ones waiting to be eaten in Union Square get protected by plastic sheeting.

Lisa Lewicki told me years ago that photos of stuff under plastic work very well. So here is someone walking past the veggie stand.

And here is the outside of a veggie stand looking in.

There were a few apples and pears to be had

and some squash. Because it was cold

I decided to have a snack...

Happy New Year!

  3. Yes, that third one is fantastic, like a silvery brocade cloth. And who know my offhand comment would live on. You have taken "plastic" to the next level!

  7. Elizabeth, with today's wind chill factor added to the low temperature, I am staying indoors today. It's time to bring out the Heat Tech garments from Uniqlo!

    Your photographs are grand. xo
