Have been a hopeless blogger lately. The late February blahs!
Yesterday we had a nice dessert after lunch --mini fruit tarts from Bergamot. YUM.
Food can always cheer you up.
This is a very batty croque monseiur from Prommenade.
The skies are brightening a bit....
which is exciting.
We are on the UP at the subway station
and the Apple store.
I love the food. I love the plates. I love it all.
ReplyDeleteLooking at that delicious food is making me hungry!!

I LOVE apple stores! They are all so cool! Even the one in London!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the ten pounds I just gained looking at your breakfast...
Thank you, the food photos...looks so good that I am thinking I should have as in "The Hobbit" my second breakfast !
ReplyDeleteYour skies do look lovely but why are you sending me your weather ?
We are having blizzard warnings in Arizona, Tucson even.
A fast moving storm is zooming through Tucson and most of Arizona. Snow all around Tucson, Yes we need the rain and snow but blizzard warnings ?
Our TV weather people are loving having something to talk about besides sun and blue skies.
cheers, parsnip
Photos to drool over!
ReplyDeleteI think my eyes gained 5 pounds just looking at those dessert photos! I love your cityscapes too.
ReplyDeleteI think that's what they call a 'deconstructed' croque monsieur!
ReplyDeleteI want to visit New York so bad! Looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHaha Linda Sue gained ten pounds just looking at your luscious meals.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, looks like I did too. Oh well, those bright skies are cheery enough to make up for any extra calories.
looks like i'll be spending most of my nyc vacation in various cafés and baker shops and really gaining 5kgs. have you tried the doughnut plant, is it any good?
ReplyDeletesun and clear skies will be welcome sights. it's been miserably cloudy for the whole winter here.
love your plates.
Nicely presented. However, since I only speak American I usually get a bagel ... or a doughnut.
ReplyDeleteThese photos bring back lovely memories of our trips to New York.
ReplyDeleteI love the food too, such a variety to be found there.
Yum! :-)
ReplyDeleteI also love that it looks like the lady is walking on air.
Everything looks better on a blue or brown china plate or with a background of blue sky :)
ReplyDeleteOoo... treats all around, Elizabeth! :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteEvery Apple Store always looks amazing....even the one here in Exeter which is pretty parochial! Just catching up with your posts.....off to the next one now in a rare moment where eight-year-olds are occupied upstairs with a balloon. Simple pleasures!
ReplyDeleteYummy, yummy, yummy. Sub way escalator a bit dingy and closed in.
