Food, Bright Skies and Up!

Have been a hopeless blogger lately. The late February blahs!

Yesterday we had a nice dessert after lunch --mini fruit tarts from Bergamot. YUM.

Food can always cheer you up.

This is a very batty croque monseiur from Prommenade.

The skies are brightening a bit....

which is exciting.

We are on the UP at the subway station

and the Apple store.

I LOVE apple stores! They are all so cool! Even the one in London!

Thank you, the food photos...looks so good that I am thinking I should have as in "The Hobbit" my second breakfast !
Your skies do look lovely but why are you sending me your weather ?
We are having blizzard warnings in Arizona, Tucson even.
A fast moving storm is zooming through Tucson and most of Arizona. Snow all around Tucson, Yes we need the rain and snow but blizzard warnings ?
Our TV weather people are loving having something to talk about besides sun and blue skies.

cheers, parsnip

I think that's what they call a 'deconstructed' croque monsieur!

Haha Linda Sue gained ten pounds just looking at your luscious meals.

Hmmm, looks like I did too. Oh well, those bright skies are cheery enough to make up for any extra calories.

looks like i'll be spending most of my nyc vacation in various cafés and baker shops and really gaining 5kgs. have you tried the doughnut plant, is it any good?

sun and clear skies will be welcome sights. it's been miserably cloudy for the whole winter here.

love your plates.

Nicely presented. However, since I only speak American I usually get a bagel ... or a doughnut.

Everything looks better on a blue or brown china plate or with a background of blue sky :)

Every Apple Store always looks amazing....even the one here in Exeter which is pretty parochial! Just catching up with your posts.....off to the next one now in a rare moment where eight-year-olds are occupied upstairs with a balloon. Simple pleasures!
