Uptown on Wednesday


Uptown


 people dress up much more than they do in Chelsea

  
they wear high heeled shoes


 in an every day sort of way


 except men, who are much more sensible

Uptown


 the Essex House


 rises behind the newly-budded trees

    Fantastic 'people' shots which create the atmosphere - and I love the etched trees against the skyline of buildings. I also love the word 'uptown' which can only be new York.

    Whenever I've been to New York, I always marvel at the way women wear those skyscraper shoes, especially on those terribly uneven pavements!

    In Tucson we dress more casual but I love the dressed up look. The high heels are wonderful to look at but I can't even think of wearing.

    Love the New York fancy people. I wish I could wear heels like that but I would fall straight off them and hurt myself! Hope it warms up soon-still boiling here!
