Round Things

Before hibernating, before indulging in the long winter's nap,

animals need to put on a nice little layer of comfortable fat.
An excellent plan.
Herewith my suggestions........
a lemon tart from Bergamot on 9th Avenue.

A mini pumpkin pie from Once Upon a Tart in Soho
where I went with Frances to discuss knitting and other things.

In an attempt to be virtuous, I include an asian pear,
an odd fruit, not as good as a real pear, but interesting.

  1. This lemon tart looks yummy!
You took beautiful photos! I think it's very difficult to take beautiful photos of meals...

Thank you so much for the link to "Jane in Winter". As my English is "weak", I will read the story a bit slowly...

  3. Thanks for the excellent excuse to indulge in the bounty of holiday treats. You could probably land a job as a food stylist/photographer with that portfolio.

  9. Elizabeth, wasn't it grand to have that catch up?

I feel as if this season of delicious cakes, pies, tarts, cookies might be turning me into a round thing!

Back to work tomorrow, even if I am truly reluctant to leave my own version of Santa's workshop.

Going to have to have a look at that Bergamot place on Ninth!

    Cheers. xo
