Hudson/January

Took the dog for a walk by the Hudson this misty morning when New Jersey was barely visible on the far side.

Chelsea Piers reopened last month after a great deal of storm clean-up.

Other dog walkers were about.

A still life --sort of.

Grasses

and left over leaves

and a tree.

  1. Beautiful winter photographs Elizabeth, I felt cold joining you. Does Buster have winter booties?

  3. Hello Elizabeth:
How wonderful it all looks. The grey and the mist do add a romance to the overall scene although, at the same time, it appears to us to be rather on the cold side.

Here we have woken to very heavy snow with all public transport seriously disrupted!

  5. A lovely still scene which calms the senses. I used to love to walk along the shore line at Morecambe bay, vast expanses of mist and stillness in winter.
