One of the last mornings to look at the tree...
very soon the old ornaments will go back in the box.
On 22nd Street the monsters dancing on the wall
make me glad I wasn't out late celebrating last night.
Life pretty much back to normal on 23rd Street.
Happy New Year
Happy New Year 2012! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas Tree photo. So beautiful. Love when people are lucky enough to have some old ornaments to hang on the tree. I had some once but they where lost in a fire and are very missed.
ReplyDeleteI think I will let the tree stay up one more day and take it down tomorrow.
Happy New Year !
cheers, parsnip

Your tree ornaments are lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt'll be nice to clean up and de-clutter this week, delightful as Christmas has been.
We took our tree down early last week. It's always nice to get back to "normal" even though the holidays are so incredibly fun.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and I am looking forward to more NY photos of that great big city you live in. Lucky you. : )
Looks like the party's over, all right. But what a swell season of jollity it was.
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best, and plenty of photo ops, for the New Year!

Happy New Year to all at your place, Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great variety of moods in these New Year Chelsea Morning photos. I admit that the notion of putting away the Christmas ornaments made me smile. I never quite found the time to take my ornaments and baubles out of their hiding places Before Christmas. Glad that I did manage to bring some holly and cedar branches into the apartment, though.
I predict that 2012 is going to be a very good year. Starting right now! xo
Happy New Year to you, dear Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteLots of joy and love around you in 2012!
