Merry Chritmas Elizabeth! Wishing that next year’s journey is filled with blessings! Have a lovely weekend. P.S. Just received your enchanting book, Jane in Winter. We will read it in bed tonight, in front of the blazing fire.
I love this place! So cute and the best dessert after eating at Le Grenine Cafe across the street.
I have had the red velvet here - great!
The icing is not just decoration, it could possibly be the main event. I can tell there was a lot of time and thought put into designing how the icing would taste. It is not sugary - more like creamy and sweet. The cake is nice and moist. If you are thinking Buttercup or here, definitely here. Last time I had Buttercup, I was left wondering how they got their stellar ratings. The cake was dry and falling apart, and the icing tasted like a bag of sugar was used.
it's a cold bird! lovely city pics!!! steven
ReplyDeletea black and white warbler? very sweet.
ReplyDeletelove that booth.
Snow makes such a nice background, doesn't it? I wish that I could recognize the bird for you.
ReplyDeleteNo idea on the bird, though it looks a bit like it's decorated itself with paper cuttings.
ReplyDeleteLove the dog shot!
Merry Christmas, Elizabeth, and all best wishes for a healthy and happy new year!
ReplyDeleteGosh 5 posts to catch up on here Elizabeth. I smiled at the 'old house'.
ReplyDeleteAll good Christmas images.
The snow looks lovely not like our snow, ice and frost which has made life v ery difficult and treaturous here.
Best Wishes for a great Christmas to you and Robert and a blessed New Year. Barbara
