Vanishing points. Very good practice for learning perspectve.

The yellow line is to warn you not to step over the edge.
The gray blobs are stuck on gum.........

I chatted with the guy with the bike.
Very eco-friendly. Bike for short distances - subway for longer ones.
The other characters look rather typical - though the girl looks amazed.

81st Street - the stop for The Natural History Museum - has all these wonderful animal mosaics.

Ducks rule........

  1. I don't believe I've seen the lizard mosaics before. How interesting and beautiful!

  2. I used the 23rd street subway station for many years. I like the animal mosaics.

  3. I had the most wonderful shot of a train station in southern wales... as the tracks vanished into the distance, they also curved.

  4. oh my god! i just LOOOOOVE this blog...

  5. Elizabeth, I use the "Minima Stretch" template. I think it is the only template in Blogger that takes up the whole width of the page.

E-mail me if you have any more question.

  6. Great shots of New York. I have seem so of these places, especially the subway and those long escalator rides. You're really good at picking out beautiful landscapes and architectural details, many would have dismiss

  7. I like your photo of the grey blobs :)
I'm a new yorker, but I never payed attention to those blobs... Like the saying goes, 'you learn something every day' :)

    All the best,

    Saw Lady

I look forward to hearing from you!
